Job summary

Addison Group, based in Dallas, TX, seeks a People Services Generalist to manage benefits administration, HR compliance, onboarding, and HRIS tasks in a fast-paced environment. The role covers the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, changes, and payroll support, with the ability to influence process improvements and employee engagement.

You will partner with HR leadership to handle complex personnel issues while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy across a high-volume workforce.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience in a generalist or similar role.
• Previous benefits administration experience required.
• Hands-on experience with UKG Pro is required.
• Strong understanding of employment laws, HR compliance, and employee lifecycle processes.
• Experience supporting a high-volume workforce is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs), Microsoft Office Suite, and HRIS systems.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, qualifying life events, retirement plans, COBRA, and wellness initiatives.
• Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, leave programs, and general employment questions.
• Process employee changes such as promotions, transfers, terminations, and leaves of absence.
• Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS and perform regular data audits.
• Generate HR reports and assist with workforce reporting and compliance requirements.
• Ensure compliance with employment regulations, including I-9, E-Verify, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, ERISA, and other applicable laws.
• Support performance management processes by tracking review cycles and maintaining documentation.
• Assist with onboarding activities, new hire documentation, and orientation coverage when needed.
• Partner with HR leadership on employee relations matters and other sensitive personnel issues.
• Contribute to HR process improvements, employee engagement initiatives, and cross-functional projects.
• Process weekly payroll status changes and maintain organized personnel records.
• Track required certifications and training to ensure compliance.
