Job summary

TechWolf in New York is seeking a People Partner to own the US people practice for New York and San Francisco. You’ll partner with senior leaders, shape the operating model, and run payroll, benefits, leaves, contracts and immigration with autonomy.

You’ll lead culture across two offices, own the performance cycle, and deploy AI-enabled tools to streamline people operations, reporting back to Ghent while traveling to meet teams.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of experience as a People Partner or HRBP in a fast scaling company.
• Knowledge of US employment law across multiple states, especially New York and California.
• Shaped the culture of a team, department or office you were responsible for.
• Partnered with leaders at every level, up to VP and C-level.
• Comfortable across both people partnering and people operations.
• Able to work independently and know which matters to escalate.
• Thrive in ambiguity and fast-changing environments.
• AI-first mindset and willingness to use agentic tools daily.

Responsibilities

• Partner with US leaders to advise teams on structure and readiness.
• Shape operating model for US and company-wide projects.
• Be the People team in the room for NY and represent the US population to Ghent.
• Run the performance engine with the broader team across Ghent, London and the US.
• Shape culture across two offices (NY and SF) and guide office feel.
• Run payroll, benefits, leaves, contracts, immigration and multi-state compliance; automate with AI and conserve heavy analytics for Ghent.
