Job summary

Gen is seeking an HR Business Partner in New York to act as a trusted strategic partner to senior leaders. The role translates business and AI strategy into practical people strategies, owning the end-to-end talent agenda across planning, acquisition, performance, engagement, culture, and retention.

You will work through cross-functional HR squads to build organizational capability and competitive advantage through people.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive HR experience in a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and AI strategy into workforce plans and org design.
• Define talent, succession, and development strategies for critical roles.
• Lead hiring strategies with Talent Acquisition to improve quality of hire.
• Translate engagement insights into action plans and embed DEI into decisions.
• Sponsor performance cycles and coach leaders on accountability.
• Guide change management and culture initiatives during transformation.
• Use people analytics to identify trends and inform executive decisions.
• Ensure execution of core HR cycles and risk management across functions.
