American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. Hazleton distribution center is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to lead Talent Acquisition, leave administration, investigations, and compliance within a high-volume 24/7 DC environment.

The role partners with DC leadership on labor forecasting, coaches frontline managers, and ensures alignment with federal and Pennsylvania labor laws while driving HR analytics and system integrity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR experience in a high-volume distribution center or 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability in high-volume recruiting and labor forecasting.
• Strong working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, Workers’ Compensation, and PA employment laws.
• Experience conducting prompt, thoroughly documented workplace investigations.
• Demonstrated capability in coaching and developing frontline supervisors and managers.
• Ability to analyze attendance, turnover, and labor metrics to solve operational challenges.
• Clear, professional, and empathetic written and verbal communication skills across all levels.
• Familiarity with HRIS and timekeeping platforms (Kronos/UKG).
• HR certifications (SHRM-CP/PHR) or specialized training in compliance/investigations preferred.
• Professional fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive high-volume Talent Acquisition and workforce planning for a 24/7 DC environment.
• Lead prompt, impartial investigations into policy violations, harassment, safety incidents, and attendance issues.
• Oversee leave administration including FMLA, Workers’ Comp, and ADA interactive discussions.
• Coach and develop frontline DC leadership to improve performance management and policy enforcement.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and DC safety standards in partnership with Safety and Operations.
• Leverage HR analytics to identify turnover, attendance trends, and investigation volumes.
• Serve as an HRIS & systems SME for timekeeping, attendance tracking, and leave management (Kronos/UKG).
