Giant Eagle, Inc. is seeking an experienced Human Resource Business Partner to partner with assigned business leaders, providing coaching and HR best practices aligned with company objectives.

This role supports on-site operations from our OKG Distribution Center in Pittsburgh, PA, delivering consultancy across employee relations and performance management. The HRBP will collaborate with leadership to embed policy adherence, talent development, and labor relations programs, ensuring effective HR

Qualifications

• Experience in HRBP, Employee Relations, Labor Relations or HR Generalist roles.
• Retail, Distribution, manufacturing, logistics or Supply Chain industry exposure preferred.
• Bachelors in HR, Business Admin or related field required.
• Experience in unionized environments preferred.
• Proficient in HRIS (Workday) and MS Office for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve Team Member relations issues with investigations and coaching.
• Investigate and document relations issues, propose resolutions, ensure compliance with HR laws and policies.
• Embed a performance management culture with clear objectives and feedback to improve customer service.
• Meet regularly with business leaders to understand needs and opportunities.
• Interpret policies and guide management on sensitive performance and relations matters.
• Support senior leaders by utilizing HR tools and providing actionable insights.
• Anticipate capability needs and direct development of staffing, talent, org design and labor optimization.
• Partner with Recruiting to meet staffing needs and improve turnover and morale.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve enterprise performance and efficiency.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.
• Act as trusted advisor to store leadership and regional teams under the Retail scope.
