Profound, a fast-growing AI marketing platform, is hiring a People Operations Manager in a hands-on, builder role based in NYC or SF. You will own onboarding, compensation, benefits, and compliance, partnering with Finance, Legal, and HR to scale a global team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in people operations or HR at a high-growth startup.
• Experience scaling through rapid headcount growth.
• Experience supporting a globally distributed workforce.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for building scalable, AI-powered employee experiences.
• High attention to detail and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Rippling as the source of truth for people data across the lifecycle.
• Own global employee onboarding end to end with cross-time-zone partners.
• Respond to inquiries from payroll, finance, legal, IT, and recruiting with accuracy.
• Partner with Operations, Finance, Legal, and vendors to scale the system.
• Manage payroll, benefits administration, open enrollment, and compliance.
• Support employment verifications and immigration/compliance matters.
• Measure and improve the employee experience using metrics and iteration.
• Lead with AI and automation to reduce repetitive tasks and boost accuracy.
• Bring external work in-house with lightweight, scalable processes.
