interface.ai seeks a seasoned People Operations lead to own the full employee lifecycle in our San Francisco office, from onboarding to daily experience. You’ll steward office space, vendor relations, and culture programs, partnering with the Head of People on growth strategies as we scale from 125 to 200+ globally.

The role requires 7+ years in People Ops/HRBP/Office Mgmt, strong knowledge of California employment law, and a builder mindset to create scalable HR processes in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 7+ years in People Operations, HRBP, and Office Management in a high-growth tech startup
• Working knowledge of California employment law and HR compliance
• Experience owning or co-owning an office space with vendor management and facilities decision-making

Responsibilities

• Own the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to daily experience in SF
• Oversee US HR operations: offer letters, policies, records, benefits, compliance (federal & CA)
• Lead office space strategy, vendor relations, and facilities decisions as we scale
• Create workplace programs and culture rituals to build a strong SF community
• Partner with Head of People on talent strategy as the company grows globally
• Be the go-to resource for employee questions on benefits and workplace needs
• Build scalable HR ops processes as the first US hire
• Serve as the heartbeat of the SF office and drive action based on feedback
