Lightning AI seeks a data-driven People Operations specialist to build the AI-native People Ops organization. You’ll design automated workflows for hiring, onboarding, and employee support, reporting to the Head of People Ops. We value ownership, fast iteration, and a high-velocity culture with a focus on security and scalable systems.

You’ll own day-to-day People Ops administration, data governance, and cross-functional partnerships to improve the employee experience and drive business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Tech with holistic People Operations service delivery and administration.
• Experience with HRIS/ATS platforms and analytics tooling.
• Strong product instincts and end-to-end thinking.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional partnership.
• Experience building processes and production-ready solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design secure systems with RBAC and appropriate data access.
• Build workflows, dashboards, and decision-support tools for People teams.
• Own onboarding, offboarding, changes, HRIS updates, and data management.
• Support payroll and benefits administration, audits, and enrollments.
• Serve as point of contact on pay, benefits, leave, policies, and systems.
• Maintain data accuracy with audits, documentation, and process upkeep.
• Partner with the People team to scope and ship end-to-end internal solutions.
• Build integrations and reporting across People systems.
• Ensure legal/compliance handling of employee data across jurisdictions.
