Job summary

Axillon Aerospace in California is seeking an organized HR Coordinator to support recruiting, onboarding, trade compliance, employee records, HR systems, benefits and compliance, delivering a positive employee experience.

You will handle onboarding/offboarding, maintain HRIS records, run background checks, process Form I-9 and E-Verify, support employee communications, events, and wellness initiatives while collaborating with managers and the HR team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–5 years of relevant HR experience.
• Experience with HR programs, processes, and compliance with state laws.

Responsibilities

• Onboard and offboard employees, including offers, background checks, Form I-9 and E-Verify.
• Maintain, audit, and manage employee records in the HRIS.
• Process unemployment and disability documentation (EDD) in compliance with state rules.
• Support recruiting: postings, scheduling interviews, and candidate coordination.
• Provide daily office support, including trade compliance, security badges, and front desk coverage.
• Assist with benefits, communications, and other HR programs; plan employee events and wellness initiatives.
