Job summary

Assured is seeking a detail-oriented People Operations and Compliance Generalist to manage benefits administration, payroll compliance, and HRIS operations. You’ll coordinate with our benefits broker, ensure regulatory filings, and oversee multi-state compliance while improving automation and reporting across People Ops.

The role emphasizes accuracy, discretion with sensitive information, and collaboration with internal teams and external partners to deliver an excellent employee experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
• 2–5 years of experience in benefits administration and multi-state payroll tax compliance.
• Knowledge of benefits administration and employment compliance.
• Experience with Rippling (Assured’s HRIS and payroll systems) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be the go-to for benefits questions and coordinate enrollments, life event changes, 401(k) plans through Betterment, COBRA, and annual open enrollment.
• Partner with Sequoia to administer benefit plans and ensure ACA filings and notices.
• Maintain payroll and state compliance including withholding, unemployment registrations, paid family leave and disability programs.
• Own AbstractOps and CT Corporation relationships and manage mail/mailroom activities.
