Job summary

A24 Films LLC in New York City is seeking a systems-minded People Operations Specialist who can rebuild workflows behind our People function and develop apps that employees and managers will actually use. You will own the HR tech stack, design scalable solutions, and collaborate with the People team to translate needs into efficient interfaces, automated processes, and reliable data.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in consulting, business ops, or people analytics.
• Passion for building better systems, workflows, and apps.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools, coding, and/or advanced Excel work.
• Comfort with ambiguity and working in fast, creative environments.
• Humble and resourceful, with a no-task-is-too-small attitude.

Responsibilities

• Reimagine how the People team works: Evaluate People team processes and tools, identifying opportunities for greater efficiency and impact.
• Manage operational flows: Support end-to-end HR processes from recruitment to onboarding to development and beyond, removing friction and ensuring a smooth employee experience.
• Design new solutions: Build and maintain scalable apps and platforms that leaders, managers, and employees will actually want to use.
• Build thoughtful automations: Spot repetitive, manual work and automate where needed.
• Own people-related systems and data: Be the expert on our HR tech stack, managing and auditing employee information, data changes, and documentation – proactively flagging or fixing inconsistencies to ensure accuracy and proper record keeping.
• Document and standardize: Create clear documentation for processes and programs so that knowledge isn't siloed and workflows can scale as the team grows
