Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking an HR Coordinator to support onboarding and new hire processes for hourly employees. You will schedule orientation, enter data into Workday, and collaborate with recruiters on pre-employment tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

You will greet walk-in applicants, answer policy questions, and provide clerical support to the HR team. The role requires strong communication, confidentiality, and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated clerical experience, preferably in HR.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to use Workday or similar HRIS.
• Strong English communication, verbal and written; multilingual skills preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Excellent organizational and data entry skills.
• Fast-paced, self-motivated with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and deliver hourly new hire orientation.
• Enter new hire data in Workday accurately at orientation.
• Coordinate onboarding tasks and ensure timely completion.
• Check rehire status and merge records as needed.
• Partner with recruiting to schedule orientations and paperwork.
• Screen job bid candidates and present offers; load offers in Workday.
• Greet walk-in applicants and answer HR policy questions.
• Perform departmental tasks such as badging, I-9, Pay Card, WOTC.
• Suggest process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Support employee engagement activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
