Wedgewood Pharmacy in Swedesboro, NJ is seeking a detail-oriented People Operations Specialist to support HR operations across the employee lifecycle in a hybrid role. You will manage onboarding and offboarding, unemployment claims, and leave administration while maintaining accurate records and ensuring policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 1 year in HR Operations or HR Administration.
• Experience in onboarding, offboarding, unemployment claims or leave administration.
• Proficiency with HRIS and MS Office applications.
• Experience maintaining accurate employee data and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage onboarding process, including background checks and Form I-9 verification.
• Coordinate employee offboarding and unemployment notices.
• Serve as point of contact for unemployment claims across states.
• Process and track leaves of absence (FMLA, other) and workers' comp.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
• Answer questions on policies, benefits, HR systems, and processes.
• Prepare and distribute HR communications and compliance notices.
• Support learning and development administration and training records.
• Assist with People Success initiatives including audits, wellness, engagement surveys.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and data accuracy.
