Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Specialist to support both Talent Acquisition and HR Operations functions within a regulated pharmaceutical environment. This role is evenly split between recruiting top talent and ensuring efficient day-to-day HR administration and employee support. The ideal candidate is organized, people-focused, and experienced in full-cycle recruitment as well as HR processes, compliance, onboarding, and employee lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition (50%)
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruiting strategies
- Post job openings on job boards, social media, and internal platforms
- Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, and other channels
- Conduct phone screens and coordinate interview schedules
- Maintain candidate pipelines and provide regular recruitment updates to stakeholders
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
- Support pre-employment processes including background checks and reference checks
- Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and hiring trends
- Support employer branding and campus/community recruiting initiatives
HR Operations (50%)
- Administer onboarding and offboarding processes
- Maintain employee records and HRIS data accuracy
- Support employee benefits administration and employee inquiries
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
- Support employee engagement initiatives
- Prepare HR reports, audits, and compliance documentation
- Assist with policy updates, handbook maintenance, and HR communications
- Coordinate employee training and development activities
