Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Specialist to support both Talent Acquisition and HR Operations functions within a regulated pharmaceutical environment. This role is evenly split between recruiting top talent and ensuring efficient day-to-day HR administration and employee support. The ideal candidate is organized, people-focused, and experienced in full-cycle recruitment as well as HR processes, compliance, onboarding, and employee lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition (50%)

• Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruiting strategies
• Post job openings on job boards, social media, and internal platforms
• Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, networking, and other channels
• Conduct phone screens and coordinate interview schedules
• Maintain candidate pipelines and provide regular recruitment updates to stakeholders
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
• Support pre-employment processes including background checks and reference checks
• Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and hiring trends
• Support employer branding and campus/community recruiting initiatives

HR Operations (50%)

• Administer onboarding and offboarding processes
• Maintain employee records and HRIS data accuracy
• Support employee benefits administration and employee inquiries
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
• Support employee engagement initiatives
• Prepare HR reports, audits, and compliance documentation
• Assist with policy updates, handbook maintenance, and HR communications
• Coordinate employee training and development activities
