Job summary

Wedgewood Pharmacy is seeking a detail-oriented People Operations Specialist to manage onboarding, offboarding, unemployment claims, leave processes, and employee records in a hybrid Swedesboro, NJ role. You will serve as a trusted resource for employees and leaders, ensuring compliance and a positive employee experience.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in HR or related field and at least 1 year of HR Operations/Administration experience, with proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in HR or a related field.
• 1+ year of experience in HR Operations or HR Administration.
• Experience in onboarding, offboarding, unemployment claims, or leave administration and employee records management.

Responsibilities

• Manage the employee onboarding process, including background checks, HRIS onboarding, system access coordination, and Form I-9 verification.
• Coordinate employee offboarding, ensuring accurate and timely separation documentation and HRIS updates.
• Serve as the company-wide point of contact for unemployment claims across multiple states, coordinating documentation and deadlines.
• Process and track employee leaves of absence, including FMLA and workers' compensation claims.
• Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files, I-9 documentation, and training records.
• Answer policy, benefits, HR systems, and general People Success inquiries from employees and leaders.
• Prepare and distribute HR communications, compliance notices, and verification letters.
• Support learning and development administration by tracking required training and certifications.
• Assist with People Success initiatives, including compliance audits and employee engagement surveys.
