Job summary

Prosegur Security USA, Inc. is seeking an HR Recruiter to support day-to-day HR needs for the Chicago region. This role focuses on hiring, onboarding, HR administration, compliance, and employee engagement, partnering with Operations and the Talent Engagement team to deliver a positive employee experience.

The recruiter will manage job openings, coordinate interviews, monitor onboarding, and ensure accurate HR records across systems. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, recruiting, onboarding, HR operations, or related function preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive, solutions-focused approach with attention to detail and integrity.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn HRIS, applicant tracking, and talent management systems.
• SHRM-CP or HR certification is a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 10%, including occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned job openings, including candidate outreach, phone screens, interview coordination, and candidate communication.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and support timely hiring.
• Manage the new-hire onboarding process from offer through start date.
• Initiate and monitor background checks, drug screens, MVRs, I-9s, and other pre-employment processes.
• Maintain accurate candidate and employee information within HR and applicant tracking systems.
• Support employee changes, transfers, promotions, separations, and other HR transactions.
• Maintain accurate and compliant employee records and documentation.
• Serve as a resource for employees and operational leaders regarding HR processes, policies, systems, and resources.
• Support employee engagement, retention, and new-hire check-in initiatives.
• Partner with Talent Engagement and other HR functions to support company initiatives and consistent HR practices.
