The position involves managing payroll bi-weekly, handling employee relations, interviews, policy communications, and compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and privacy standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business admin preferred but not required.
• Thorough knowledge of laws and guidelines in personnel administration for nursing care facilities.
• Payroll experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the HR department.
• Process personnel payroll bi weekly.
• Review requests for new or replacement personnel and arrange interviews.
• Check applications and references and coordinate interviews with department directors.
• Maintain personnel records and ensure compliance with procedures and policies.
• Conduct background checks and orient new personnel to policies and procedures.
• Counsel/discipline personnel as needed and conduct exit interviews.
• Maintain employee relations and arrange staff training such as OSHA, HIPAA, and compliance.
