Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating and directing the HR department.
• Process personnel payroll bi-weekly and ensure accurate records.
• Review department requests for new or replacement personnel and arrange interviews.
• Check applications and references and schedule interviews with directors as required.
• Maintain personnel records and ensure compliance with employment practices.
• Ensure hiring and discharge procedures follow established policies and confidentiality.
• Conduct background checks and orient new personnel to policies and procedures.
• Counsel or discipline personnel as needed and conduct exit interviews.
• Maintain good employee relations and coordinate mandatory in-service trainings.
• Protect confidentiality of all employee information and uphold residents’ rights.
