Job summary

Sound Behavioral Health is seeking a People Operations Business Partner (HRBP) to support team members, supervisors, and the People Operations team in a hybrid role based in Tukwila, WA. You will counsel on policies, address investigations, and balance business needs with employee experience.

The position requires union environment experience, strong HR knowledge, and excellence in communication. Travel across the Greater Seattle area is expected, with a Monday–Friday schedule and flexibility

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 6+ years of experience in Human Resources.
• Experience in a union environment/labor relations is preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• SharePoint is a plus.
• SHRM-CP/PHR/SHRM-SCP/SPHR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver day-to-day assistance, support, and guidance to team members and managers in People Operations.
• Provide day-to-day People Operations support in a union environment.
• Support Team Member relations efforts, addressing concerns and investigations.
• Respond promptly to People Operations issues and concerns.
• Perform internal investigations as appropriate.
• Coach and counsel managers and team members on policies and laws.
• Analyze trends in Team Member relations to identify root causes and solutions.
• Serve as a contact for general inquiries and grievances.
• Provide strategic partnership to organizational leaders within People Operations.
