Qualifications

• Extensive HR experience across employee relations, benefits, and recruitment.
• Ability to apply policies consistently and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Experience with HR information systems; BambooHR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment, onboarding, development, and offboarding in partnership with department leaders.
• Advise supervisors on employee relations, performance, and workplace concerns.
• Coordinate employee complaints and workplace investigations, document findings, and recommend next steps to leadership.
• Administer approved benefits and leave processes, including enrollment and employee communications.
• Maintain BambooHR, employee records, job descriptions, and HR reporting.
• Review HR policies and the employee handbook and recommend updates for leadership and board consideration when appropriate.
• Partner with department leaders on staffing needs, workforce planning, and professional development.
• Coordinate employee engagement, recognition, and training initiatives.
• Monitor changes affecting employment practices and seek specialized guidance when needed.
• Attend Safety Council meetings as needed and use HR information to identify opportunities for improvement.
