Job summary

CWILL, a Cary, NC based post-purchase and retention suite for Shopify brands, is hiring for an HR/Recruiting support role. The position offers hybrid work with relocation flexibility if needed and focuses on recruitment, onboarding and record-keeping for a growing team.

Starting pay ranges from $50k–$55k with benefits including PTO, holidays, 401(k) and health insurance. Candidates should have 1 year of recruiting or HR internship/work experience and solid knowledge of labor laws.

Qualifications

• 1 year of proven recruiting or HR internship/work experience.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and hiring regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiar with an ATS (Workable, LinkedIn Recruiter).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or Google Suite, Notion and Slack is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment support: post job ads, screen resumes, assist with background and reference checks, help prepare offers, support job fairs and career events.
• Onboarding: conduct orientations, complete new-hire paperwork, set up workstations and accounts, share policies and handbook.
• Record-keeping: maintain employee records, contracts, evaluations, benefits docs, taxes.
• Benefits administration: process payroll, track leave, resolve payroll issues, assist reconciliations.
• Compliance: handle compliance requests, maintain records, escalate complex issues to specialists.
• Performance and employee relations: support performance plans, manage departures, handle grievances and incident reports.
