Job summary

Air Apps is hiring a People Operations Specialist to own HR and recruiting operations, from recruitment and onboarding to documentation and employee support. You will help ensure smooth processes and a compliant, people‑first environment across the team.

Responsibilities include managing end-to-end recruitment tasks, onboarding coordination, payroll and benefits support, and policy clarification. You will collaborate with hiring managers to keep momentum and enhance candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and negotiating offers — ideally within a consultancy or fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, especially Ashby.
• Proficient in LinkedIn tools, especially LinkedIn Recruiter, and familiar with other sourcing platforms and talent engagement strategies.
• Experience supporting HR operations such as payroll, benefits, and employee services.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with the US labor law framework and its hiring/employee operations impact.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Portuguese proficiency is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day HR tasks including payroll coordination, benefits administration, and employee data management.
• Clarify HR policies and respond to employee inquiries with empathy and accuracy.
• Support internal HR initiatives and company-sponsored people programs and team communications.
• Create and update internal HR processes, SOPs, and templates to ensure compliant HR documentation.
