Job summary

FedEx is seeking an HR professional to support the development, implementation, and administration of HR programs and policies. You will consult with management on employment, recruiting, employee relations, and HR initiatives across the Upstate NY district.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and willingness to travel. This position is based in Upstate NY and includes pay transparency details for Farmington,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree/equivalent in HR, Business, Communications, Liberal Arts, or related discipline.
• Five (5) years related experience. A related advanced degree may offset experience requirement.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and PC software skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; coaching, consulting, and process and project management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage hiring, terminations, coaching, skills development, recognition and rewards, and performance management.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day HR operations; develop and implement policies and programs.
• Lead meetings to address HR issues or employee relations concerns; develop action plans when needed.
• Advise management on complex issues including disciplinary action, performance improvement, and reorganizations.
• Formulate HR programs, policies, and procedures and disseminate information to the workforce.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and FedEx policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
