Job summary

FedEx is seeking an HR professional to support the development, implementation, and administration of HR programs and policies. You will advise management on employment, recruiting, employee relations, and HR initiatives.

The role covers hiring, terminations, coaching, performance management, and policy communication, with travel as needed and strict adherence to employment laws and FedEx policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in HR, business, communications, liberal arts or related discipline.
• Five years of related experience; advanced degree may offset experience.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and PC software skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal and coaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Hiring, terminations, coaching, skills development, recognition and rewards, performance management, and staff productivity.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day HR operations; develop and implement policies and programs.
• Conduct meetings to address HR issues; encourage feedback and action plans.
• Advise management on disciplinary action, performance improvement, and reorganizations.
• Formulate HR policies and disseminate information to the workforce.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and FedEx policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
