Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking an HR professional to assist the Human Resources Director and manage daily HR operations at the Las Vegas area property. You will help shape employee relations, employment, training and benefits, while ensuring compliant procedures and effective communication across departments.

Responsibilities include policy administration, performance and labor issue guidance, and coordinating training needs to meet the property's requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Three (3) years of human resources experience preferred.
• Knowledgeable of HR concepts, policies, procedures, and employment laws.
• Strong MS Office applications skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to obtain/maintain necessary licenses/certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Human Resources Director in all aspects of HR management.
• Serve as primary manager of day-to-day HR operations.
• Provide input on employee relations, employment, training and benefit activities.
• Ensure departments are supported through new procedures for HR operations.
• Administer and communicate company policies, procedures and programs.
• Review and advise on performance, conduct issues and labor matters.
• Promote effective communication between employees and management.
• Coordinate training needs of the property.
