Job summary

Whatnot, a fast-growing live commerce platform, is hiring a Senior People Business Partner to guide our global Operations People strategy across Customer Experience, Trust & Risk, and Fraud. You will partner with leaders from VP to frontline managers, design org structure, workforce planning, performance cycles, and people programs, while ensuring alignment with business goals and a remote-first culture.

This role supports a mostly hourly frontline workforce and requires strong data literacy,

Qualifications

• 7+ years as an HR Business Partner, including 4+ years supporting large-scale Operations populations in a remote or distributed fast-paced tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Coach leaders and managers across levels to build stronger teams and better employee experiences.
• Partner on people strategy, org design, workforce planning, and team development for a large, distributed hourly workforce.
• Advise on employee relations, performance, and investigations in collaboration with legal as needed.
• Drive core people processes (compensation, performance cycles, talent planning) at scale for agents and leaders.
• Partner with COEs to build programs for a fast growing Operations population.
• Use data and insights to anticipate talent risks and inform decisions across the client group.
