Job summary

Whatnot is seeking a People Operations Partner to shape and scale the employee experience. This role focuses on building scalable, compliant, and data-driven People Ops infrastructure with accuracy and audit readiness.

You will strengthen People infrastructure across compliance, auditing, payroll, and core HR operations like payroll and time & attendance, partnering across Finance, Legal, Recruiting, IT, and HR teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in People Ops or HR operations.
• Workday power user, comfortable building reports and identifying data issues.
• Experience with compliance, audits, payroll, and time & attendance systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead core People Ops operations across the employee lifecycle, including changes, departures, and compensation updates.
• Drive compliance and audit readiness with accurate records and documentation.
• Partner on payroll and time & attendance in collaboration with Finance and Total Rewards.
• Build and scale reporting and analytics with Workday reports and dashboards.
• Lead cross-functional People Ops initiatives and projects with Recruiting, IT, Finance, Total Rewards, Legal, and People Business Partners.
• Manage People systems and data integrity, ensuring audit-ready data.
• Drive process improvement and scalable system design across workflows.
• Improve the People Ops helpdesk with better self-service resources.
• Support onboarding, core operations, reporting, and compliance to ensure continuity.
