Fonio is seeking a hands-on People Ops leader to own the entire employee lifecycle from contracts to offboarding. You will build the backbone for rapid scaling, implement an HRIS, and automate workflows across systems.

This role includes US payroll management, compliance with labor laws, and compensation governance, with opportunities for international hiring and relocation support. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with flat hierarchies.

Qualificações

• 3+ years in People Ops, HR, or Operations.
• Knowledge of US labor law, payroll, and collective agreements.
• Structured, hands-on working style.
• AI and automation/workflow skills.
• People-first, low ego. You thrive under intensity.
• Strong English skills.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end people ops from hire to offboarding and automate where possible.
• Build the structural backbone to enable rapid scaling.
• Introduce and own an HRIS tool and automate workflows.
• Organize and own payroll processes for US employees, including variable compensation.
• Support international hiring, time-tracking, and international tax topics.
• Manage compensation bands across teams and countries.
• Organize internal and external events to foster culture.
• Guide relocation of international colleagues and ongoing people development.
