Job summary

Outset is seeking a proactive People Operations Generalist to join our fast-paced startup. With 3–6 years in HR, you will own onboarding, offboarding, data management, and employee relations while balancing compassionate support with strong operational execution.

You'll partner with managers to administer benefits, payroll inputs, HRIS processes, and policy updates, helping scale a best-in-class employee experience across the organization.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of HR or People Operations experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience supporting rapid headcount growth or organizational change.
• Experience across onboarding, benefits, HRIS, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.
• Familiarity with multi-state employment practices and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve core People Operations processes across the employee lifecycle.
• Serve as point of contact for policies and employee experience.
• Guide managers on basic employee-relations matters.
• Administer benefits, leave programs, payroll inputs, HRIS, and records.
• Maintain HR policies and handbook content.
• Support performance management and talent processes.
• Analyze people data and prepare headcount, attrition, and engagement reports.
• Identify manual processes and build scalable solutions.
