Outset, a startup redefining research with AI-powered user interviews, is seeking a proactive People Operations Generalist to scale an exceptional employee experience.

You will own core people processes across the lifecycle and partner with managers on HR policies, benefits, payroll inputs, and data integrity. Ideal candidates have 3–6 years in HR and a bachelor’s degree, with experience during rapid growth.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in Human Resources or People Operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or related field.
• Experience supporting growth and organizational change.
• Experience with HRIS, payroll, and benefits administration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve core People Operations processes across the employee lifecycle.
• Serve as a trusted contact for employees and managers on day-to-day policies.
• Assist with benefits, payroll inputs, HRIS processes, and records.
• Maintain HR policies and handbook content; update templates.
• Assist with performance management, goals, surveys, and engagement.
• Identify inefficiencies and build scalable, repeatable processes.
