Job summary

TevisHR is seeking a proactive Human Resources Generalist to support our Sacramento team. You will manage HR operations, talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, and HR compliance, with a strong focus on California labor law.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of HR Generalist experience, a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, and may hold PHR/SHRM-CP credentials. On-site role in Sacramento with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as HR Generalist or similar in a multi-functional HR environment.
• Solid knowledge of California employment law (FMLA/CFRA, ADA, wage & hour).
• Experience with HRIS and MS Office required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HR operations & compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, focused on CA labor law.
• Manage full-cycle talent acquisition including job descriptions, postings, interviews, and background checks.
• Lead onboarding and offboarding processes, including exit interviews and documentation.
