People Operations Generalist: HRIS, Payroll & Talent

Job summary

ASG is seeking a People Operations professional to execute human resources functions across payroll, benefits, recruitment, onboarding, and compliance. Based in Massachusetts, this full-time role requires a 4-year degree and 2+ years of HR or recruitment experience; bilingual English and Spanish/Portuguese is preferred.

You will support HRIS Paycom, intranet communications, training programs, and employee engagement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required.
• 2+ years of recruitment experience required.
• One year of Human Resources experience required.
• Additional HR training is a plus.
• If required, flexibility to work outside of normal work hours especially during project peaks.
• Bilingual preferred but not required, fluent in English and Spanish/Portuguese.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the development of People Operations objectives and systems
• Liaises with stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects
• Optimizes HRIS processes and integrates new software
• Primary contact for payroll processing including PTO tracking
• Owns recruitment: job descriptions, postings, screening, interviews, offers, onboarding
• Develops and maintains internal communications such as intranet boards and newsletters
• Assists in administering benefits, compensation, and performance programs
• Tracks compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training and work assessments
• Administers licenses in Microsoft 365 and supports IT initiatives
• Organizes employee engagement events from monthly virtual trivia to yearly retreats
• Ability to visit the Lawrence, MA Contact Support Center monthly or quarterly for People Operations support
• Performs other duties as assigned
