Job summary

American Safety Services, Inc. is seeking a dynamic bilingual Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Odessa, Texas. The role supports full HR functions including payroll processing, benefits administration, onboarding, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

You will lead onboarding, manage recruitment, and coordinate new hire orientation, while partnering with supervisors to address performance issues and promote our culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; HS Diploma/GED required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Human Resources.
• Knowledge of benefits administration and HRIS systems (Paycor, NetSuite).

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and offboarding processes, maintaining accurate and compliant HR records
• Manage recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer support
• Lead a New Hire Orientation class
• Support benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
• Contribute to HR projects, process improvements, and strategic initiatives
• Partner with supervisors and managers to address performance and behavioral issues
• Act as a champion for the American Safety culture and ensure the environment is supporting the expectations set forth by Executive Leadership.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor

• Valid state driver's license and clean driving record
• Knowledge of HRIS systems. Specifically, Paycor and NetSuite
