Job summary

American Safety Services Inc. is seeking a bilingual Human Resources Generalist to support the full spectrum of HR functions. The role will help attract and retain top talent, assist with payroll and benefits administration, and ensure compliant HR records.

They will work with supervisors to address performance issues, contribute to HR projects, and champion the company culture across the organization. A hands-on, proactive approach and experience with Paycor and NetSuite are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; HS Diploma/GED required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Human Resources.
• Knowledge of benefits administration and HRIS Paycor and NetSuite.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• High attention to detail with a hands-on, proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding and offboarding processes, maintaining accurate and compliant HR records.
• Manage recruitment efforts, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer support.
• Lead a New Hire Orientation class.
• Support benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
• Contribute to HR projects, process improvements, and strategic initiatives.
• Partner with supervisors and managers to address performance and behavioral issues.
• Act as a champion for the company culture and ensure the environment aligns with Executive Leadership expectations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
