Notion is seeking a People Operations Generalist in the United States to support employee lifecycle, benefits, and global mobility across offices in SF and NYC. You’ll own routine workflows, maintain accurate records, and guide employees through processes with clear updates.

You'll collaborate with Global Mobility, Recruiting, Legal, Finance, IT, and People Partners to keep processes moving. The role emphasizes careful data hygiene, SOC2 compliance, and thoughtful employee experiences.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in People Operations, benefits administration, global mobility coordination, or a related service-operations role.

Responsibilities

• Process HRIS and employee-lifecycle transactions; keep data clean through audits and handoffs.
• Act as Tier 1 support for employees; triage and resolve questions via ticketing system.
• Coordinate routine benefits transactions; support compliance and data accuracy with providers.
• Initiate and track immigration and relocation cases; liaise with stakeholders to move cases.
• Resolve routine cases using documented guidance; route exceptions to specialists.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Global Mobility, Recruiting, Legal, Finance, IT).
• Maintain compliance and employee files; support regular audits (SOC2).
• Support ad-hoc projects to improve processes and employee experience.
