Palacios Marine & Industrial Coatings, Inc. in Texas seeks an HR Generalist to deliver daily HR services spanning benefits, retirement plan coordination, employee lifecycle changes, leave administration, terminations, and HR systems administration.

The role collaborates with employees and managers, handles routine matters, escalates complex issues to HR leadership, and supports recruiting, reporting, compliance, and policy administration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally as an HR Generalist or similar role.
• Experience with benefits administration, employee lifecycle processes, and HR records.
• Experience with HRIS (Paylocity preferred) and MS Office applications.

Responsabilités

• Respond to employee and manager HR questions, resolve routine matters, and coordinate follow-up as needed.
• Administer employee benefits, 401(k), PTO, leave of absence, and eligibility-related processes.
• Process employee lifecycle changes, including onboarding, position or pay changes, supervisor updates, and terminations.
• Support employee relations by gathering facts, maintaining case records, and preparing routine documentation.
• Coordinate HR-related payroll and timekeeping matters, including deductions and PTO setup.
• Maintain HR compliance records, notices, certifications, I-9s, and audit docs.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, rehires, and accurate employee records.
• Run HR reports, reconcile exceptions, maintain trackers, and prepare management information.
