Job summary

Snap Inc. in Santa Monica is seeking a People Operations Generalist to support onboarding, performance cycles, promotions, communications, and team member support. You will maintain HR data in Workday, generate headcount and attrition reports, and enhance processes with AI-powered tools.

You will collaborate with the People Team to ensure program efficiency, confidentiality, and compliance while facilitating change communications for new or updated People programs.

Qualifications

• Familiar with core HR processes and employee lifecycle practices.
• Experience using HRIS, especially Workday or equivalent.
• Experience enabling AI-powered reporting and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding, performance and promotion cycles, communications and team member support.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and employee experience.
• Maintain accurate employee and program data in Workday and related systems with HRIS partners.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports (headcount, hires, promotions, departures).
• Respond to inquiries and route matters to the appropriate People partner.
• Handle confidential employee information with discretion and comply with People processes.
• Utilize AI tools to optimize workflows in People Operations.
• Support change communications and adoption of new People programs.
