Job summary

Bright in Austin, Texas, is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support Team Members through hiring, onboarding, benefits, compliance, and employee relations. Based in Austin with travel across Texas locations, you’ll partner with managers, Payroll, IT, and the regional HR team to keep people operations running smoothly.

You will coordinate onboarding, assist in scheduling interviews, maintain I-9 compliance, administer benefits, and help with training and investigations while ensuring

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and highly organized with strong written and verbal communication.
• Bilingual in Spanish (read, write, speak) to support a diverse team.
• Familiar with employment laws and handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate onboarding and training for Team Members across locations.
• Support talent acquisition by scheduling interviews and moving candidates through the process.
• Maintain I-9 compliance and accurate records for Team Members.
• Administer benefits enrollment and respond to benefit questions.
• Track compliance training and harassment prevention.
• Support employee investigations and relations matters, documenting steps.
• Prepare termination packets and review separation agreements as needed.
• Collaborate with HR, IT, and Payroll on pay changes, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
• Assist leave of absence processes (PDL, CFRA, ADA) with documentation.
