Job summary

Gymshark is seeking a People Operations Coordinator in the US to own the employee lifecycle, ensure data accuracy across HR systems, and support compliance. You will partner with Payroll, Finance, Tech and external providers to deliver a seamless employee experience.

The role requires at least 2 years in HR/People Operations, strong Excel skills, and a proactive approach to process improvements while working in a hybrid New York City environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in HR, People Operations or similar people-focused admin role.
• Experience managing employee records and confidential information.
• Strong knowledge of HR systems and Excel.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication with a customer-focused approach.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders across teams.
• Proactive mindset to improve processes and adopt new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle including onboarding and leaver processes.
• Prepare employment documents and support compliance activities (I-9, background checks).
• Maintain accurate employee records across HR systems and ensure data integrity.
• Act as first point of contact for People Operations queries from employees and stakeholders.
• Partner with Payroll, Finance, Technology and external providers for smooth processes.
• Conduct audits and reporting to identify trends and improve data quality.
• Support system improvements, automation opportunities and AI-driven solutions to enhance employee experience.
• Create and maintain process documentation for global People teams.
• Contribute to People projects supporting Gymshark's growth.
