PeopleOps Jobs is seeking an organized People Operations and Compliance Generalist in the United States to oversee benefits, payroll compliance, and multi‑state reporting. You will collaborate with brokers, payroll providers, and agencies to ensure accurate enrollments, timely ACA filings, and robust policy administration.

The role emphasizes data privacy, process automation, and proactive improvement of HR workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent practical experience will be evaluated.
• 2–5 years of background in benefits administration and multi-state payroll tax compliance.
• Strong understanding of benefits administration and employment law compliance.
• Prior experience with Rippling (our HRIS and payroll platform) is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Be the go-to for benefits questions.
• Provide guidance on health, dental, vision, retirement, and benefits.
• Coordinate enrollments, qualifying life event updates, COBRA, and open enrollment.
• Act as the initial point of contact for all workforce benefits inquiries.
• Partner with our benefits broker.
• Serve as the primary liaison with Sequoia to administer plan offerings and maintain compliance.
• Keep payroll and state compliance airtight.
• Own AbstractOps, CT Corp, and the mailroom.
• Direct HRIS record updates, benefits administration, and leave management (FMLA, parental leave).
• Keep the paper trail audit-ready.
• Facilitate compliance audits by compiling required documentation.
• Own the handbook, policies, and employee communications.
• Maintain and update the employee handbook and organizational policies.
• Oversee Lattice administration and staff training on system navigation.
• Generate accurate reports tracking headcount, turnover metrics, and hiring trends.
• Automate the repeatable.
• Configure auto-responses and workflows for benefits, PTO, and policy guidelines.
