Job summary

Georgetown University's Center for Security and Emerging Technology (CSET) seeks a temporary People Operations Associate to expand recruitment capacity. Reporting to the People Operations Manager, you will strengthen sourcing, conduct outreach, and own core recruiting operations in a hybrid Washington, DC setting.

You will work ~25 hours per week at $35 per hour and gain exposure to recruiting analytics, SOPs, and process improvements on a collaborative HR team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, International Relations, Security Studies, or related field.
• 1 year of professional work experience.
• Experience in HR, people operations, finance, or policy preferred.
• Proficiency with Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sound judgment.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting Operations: Manage the CSET Careers inbox, triage, candidate correspondence, and response tracking.
• Assist with initial down-selection of candidates for active roles.
• Serve as an additional point of contact for candidates during interviews.
• Coordinate onsite interview logistics, scheduling, travel, and day-of support.
• Source candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, university career centers, and outreach.
• Maintain candidate data across Workday, Interfolio, and internal spreadsheets.
