Job summary

5W Public Relations is seeking a People Operations Associate (temp to perm) to support recruitment and People Operations activities. The role involves scheduling candidate interviews, maintaining pipelines in Greenhouse, and ensuring smooth onboarding and HRIS processes.

You will collaborate with the HR team on various projects, provide administrative support, and help maintain accurate employee records in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Prior internship or full-time experience in a professional environment; experience in Human Resources, Recruiting, or People Operations preferred.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
• Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook; experience with HRIS/ATS platforms such as HiBob and Greenhouse is a plus.
• Experience with NetSuite or similar expense management systems is a plus.
• Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn, ask questions, and continuously improve processes.
• Comfortable using AI and emerging technology as tools to work efficiently, problem-solve, and support day-to-day responsibilities.
• Proactive, adaptable, and eager to take ownership of new tasks and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Schedule candidate phone screens and interviews through Greenhouse; maintain candidate pipelines.
• Create a seamless experience for candidates and hiring managers.
• Liaise with business to collect feedback and identify next steps for candidates.
• Post positions to various websites; assist with pre/post-employment requirements.
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes including HRIS updates.
• Provide administrative support: expense reports, trackers, internal communications.
• Assist with ongoing People Operations projects and recurring HR processes.
