Mixpanel is seeking a People Operations Manager who can turn messy problems into a clear plan, owning the HR technology stack and driving process transformation across the employee lifecycle. You will partner with Payroll, IT, Legal, and the broader People & Talent team to scale operations with better-configured systems and governance.

• Owned People Operations programs in a high-growth technology environment.
• Served as a functional owner/administrator for HR platforms including configuration, rollouts, and cross-functional coordination with IT and vendors.
• Built or contributed to a People technology roadmap with evaluating tools and investment cases.
• Documented and redesigned people processes across the full employee lifecycle.
• Influenced cross-functional partners to adopt new workflows or new ways of working.
• Applied structured project management practices to multi-stakeholder initiatives.
• Established data governance standards in HR systems with audits and approvals.
• Managed compliance programs (I-9/E-Verify, records retention, data privacy) with proactive controls.
• Communicated clearly across levels and adapted messaging as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR operations programs end-to-end — define scope, owners, milestones, risks, and success measures.
• Serve as the primary functional owner for core People technology platforms (HRIS, ATS, LMS) including configuration and upgrades.
• Lead technology deployments, platform conversions, and module rollouts with IT, HRIS, and vendor teams.
• Research and benchmark HR technology trends to build a scalable People tech roadmap.
• Apply AI and emerging tools to improve how the broader People Operations function works.
• Establish and enforce data governance standards across HR systems for accuracy and audit readiness.
• Design and implement a tiered HR support model with defined SLAs and escalation paths.
• Map current and future-state workflows to reduce manual work and increase automation.
• Author and maintain SOPs and documentation at a function level.
