Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Store Leader to plan, direct, and supervise day-to-day store operations across departments. This role mentors team members, drives customer service excellence, and ensures the store meets sales and service goals while maintaining company standards.

With 2–3 years in retail and at least one year in management, you will handle staffing, training, and development, while overseeing profitability and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other store areas (meat, bakery, produce, deli)
• Ability to communicate clearly and provide direction to the team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and analyze financial information.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Plan, direct and supervise day-to-day store operations.
• Mentor and coach team members and plan career paths.
• Oversee P&L and shrink to achieve department goals.
• Ensure customer service standards and Meijer policies are followed.
• Maintain store appearance and ensure safety and compliance.
