Meijer is seeking a store leadership professional to guide daily operations, staff development, and customer experience across departments. You will mentor team members, manage staffing and training, and drive sales while upholding Meijer standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other store areas such as meat, bakery, produce and deli.
• Ability to communicate clear and precise direction to team members.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and address root cause issues.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information and use that info to make decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a safety‑focused organization.
• Mentor team members including hourly staff and SDITs.
• Successful completion of required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs and supervises team members in day to day operations.
• Mentors and coaches team members to exceed service and sales goals.
• Maintains store appearance and prime shopping hours.
• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet needs.
• Promotes career paths and development needs.
• Documentation of disciplinary actions and discharge recommendations.
• Responsible for P&L, sales, and shrink control.
• Ensures team is trained and able to deliver exceptional service.
• Spends most time in store communicating with customers and team members.
• Promotes a safe work environment and reliable attendance.
