Responsibilities

• Plans, directs and supervises team members in day-to-day store operations.
• Mentors and coaches team to meet customer service and sales goals.
• Oversees staffing, selection and hiring to meet needs.
• Promotes succession planning and career development.
• Documents disciplinary actions and discharge recommendations.
• Responsible for P&L, sales goals and shrink control.
• Models fast, friendly customer service and Meijer initiatives.
• Maintains store appearance and prime shopping hours.
• Ensures staff training completion and safety practices.
• Spends most time in-store communicating with customers and team members.
• Ensures a safe work environment and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
