Job summary

Responsibilities include staffing decisions, performance coaching, and executing loss prevention while delivering a positive Meijer image through friendly, prompt service and safe operations across prime hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments across store areas (meat, bakery, produce, deli) useful.
• Strong communication with team and organization-wide direction.
• Ability to resolve conflict by addressing root causes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and analyze financial data for decisions.
• Experience mentoring team members across hourly roles and SDITs.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet needs.
• Meet staffing goals and promote career paths.
• Disciplinary actions and performance decisions.
• Responsible for P&L, sales, shrink control.
• Mentor and coach team to meet service and sales goals.
• Ensure training completion and safety compliance.
