Job summary

Carter's Inc. is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in Fort Smith, AR to lead a welcoming team and elevate customer experience on the sales floor. You will partner with the Store Manager to drive growth, training, and daily operations while ensuring brand standards are met.

You will also help recruit, onboard, and develop staff while maintaining a positive, inclusive store culture and delivering strong results in sales and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of retail or related management experience.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to train and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Execute workforce management to ensure a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles and benefits.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
• Consistently model service standards and omnichannel experience while coaching others to success.
• Assist the Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, training, and development of store team.
• Plan, track, analyze, and report completion of tasks and financial results using company tools.
• Partner with Store Manager to plan and execute merchandising standards and promotions.
