Job summary

Carter’s Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Colorado to lead the sales floor with a customer-first approach and drive team performance. You will support merchandising, coaching, and KPI-driven actions to improve results while maintaining an inclusive, safe environment.

You’ll partner with the Store Manager to recruit, train, and develop staff, ensuring excellent service and adherence to brand standards across channels.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills with customer engagement experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient computer skills including Outlook and Excel.
• Minimum 1 year of retail or related management experience.
• A high school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Execute workforce management to ensure a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide product guidance on styles and benefits.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for staff and customers.
• Coach others to meet service standards and omnichannel experience.
• Analyze business performance and communicate KPIs with the team to improve results.
• Assist the Store Manager with recruiting, training, and development of the store team.
• Plan and report merchandising standards, promotions, and product placement.
